Session Fees

Payment is due at the time of service unless your sessions are being billed through insurance.

• Initial session: $200

• Individual therapy session: $180

• Couples or family therapy session: $175

• Group therapy session: $85

Limited sliding-scale appointments may be available. Please contact us for current availability.

Insurance Plans

Healing Path Counseling Services, LLC works with the following insurance providers:

• Aetna

• Blue Care Network

• Blue Cross Blue Shield

• Priority Health

• UnitedHealthcare, UHC, and UBH

• Medicare

• Medicaid

Coverage varies by insurance plan, therapist, and service. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first appointment to confirm:

• Whether your therapist is in network

• Your deductible

• Your copayment or coinsurance

• Whether authorization or a referral is required

• Your coverage for in-person and telehealth services

A quote of benefits is not a guarantee that an insurance company will pay for services. Clients are responsible for fees that are not covered by their plan.

Out-of-Network Benefits

If we are not in network with your insurance plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Upon request, we can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company.

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and is not guaranteed. Please contact your plan directly to learn about your out-of-network mental-health benefits.

Cancellation and Missed-Appointment Fee

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—and appointments missed without notice—may be subject to a $100 fee.

Cancellation and missed-appointment fees cannot be billed to insurance and are the client’s responsibility.

Court-Related Services

Healing Path Counseling Services, LLC does not provide forensic evaluations or expert-witness services.

If participation in a legal proceeding becomes necessary, including testimony, depositions, or court attendance, the fee is $1,500 per day or any portion of a day. Payment is required seven business days in advance.

Court-related services are not covered by insurance.
